During a church conference, a Danish brother was convinced that President Brigham Young spoke to him in Danish, though the President was speaking English. The brother was blessed with the gift of interpretation, allowing him to understand the message as if it were delivered in his own tongue.

In Their Own Words

“He related a very pleasant incident of a Danish brother retiring from the house of the Lord impressed with the conviction that “President Young spoke very good Danish,” for he was fully convinced that the President had administered to him in Danish, while it was he himself who had been blessed with the gift of interpretation. — Millennial Star 29:48”
