Eliza R. Snow - Young Women's Spiritual Gifts: Healing, Prophecy, Angelic Protection

In an April 17, 1875 discourse to the Thirteenth Ward Young Ladies, Eliza R. Snow taught profound truths about the spiritual gifts available to faithful young women. She declared: 'the faith of the daughters of Zion will heal the Sick, and if these who are now before me will step forward and complete their education in Christ, we shall have prophetesses among them and great and mighty works will be done.' Snow testified that 'the Spirit of God will be over them, and angels watch round them.' She referenced the Kirtland Temple where the Spirit manifested 'as a mighty rushing wind' in the day of Pentecost, declaring these miraculous gifts were available to the young women present.
