While tracting with his companion in Czechoslovakia early in his mission, Wallace F. Toronto knocked on a woman's door and introduced himself, telling her they wanted to tell her about the Church. The woman replied, 'No, I don't want to hear about it. I'm very sad right now because I've lost a child.' At that moment, it occurred to Wally to teach her about the Atonement and the blessings of eternal life, and he promised her that she would see her child again. As he testified, he spoke in the Czech language perfectly — a language he did not actually know yet. The woman felt the Spirit and ended up attending church. Years later, Wally related this experience to his early-morning seminary students at South High School in Salt Lake City; one of those students was a young Henry B. Eyring, who later became First Counselor in the First Presidency and remembered the story for the rest of his life.
