Mollie Higginson, residing in Utah, has been suffering from paralysis for over three months. Despite the ongoing illness and the prognosis of needing several more months to recover, she reports having been promised by the holy Priesthood that she would eventually be healed and strong in every limb to complete her mission. She views this period of forced quiet as a welcome time for reflection.
In Their Own Words
“For over three months now, I have been suffering from paralysis, and it will be some months yet before I can hope to be strong: but still I feel that I have so much to thank the Lord for. and I know , for I have been promised it by the mouth of the holy Priesthood that I shall yet go forth, strong in every limb, to complete the mission for which I left the courts on high, and this period of quiet and repose is welcome to me, and I feel that indeed "all is well" with those who truly love the Lord. — Millennial Star 78:42”
