During a fast meeting for officers in Mary B. Crandall's home on Washington's Birthday, the power of the Lord was felt, including manifestations of prophecies, blessings, and speaking in tongues.

In Their Own Words

“It was a fast meeting called by the President of the Stake, Sister Mecham, on Washington’s Birthday for the officers of Springville. Only about half could come, they had to stay in school to help with the program. But nevertheless we had one of the most heavenly meetings, (at my house) that has been my lot to attend. The prophesies, the blessings, and speaking in tongues, were just simply grand, and from the right source, for I can feel the influence in my home ever since. — The Young Woman's Journal 8:8”
