When Eva Salway attended her first Church meeting after a long period of searching for the truth, she walked a long distance and prayed that she would know if she was doing the right thing upon entering the hall. Upon entering the empty building, she saw the text 'Thou, God, seest me' on the wall and felt a powerful spiritual confirmation that she was in the right place.

In Their Own Words

“It was some distance to walk. and. as I walked, I prayed that if I was doing right. I should know as soon as I entered the hall. I was the first there. I saw a text on the wall, "Thou. God, seest me." I felt that God was there, and I was right. How glad I was for the testimony! I went on my knees and thanked God. I knew I had found the truth at last. That meeting was wonderful to me. — Millennial Star 78:29”
