A missionary serving in the British mission relates a personal experience where, while walking, he received a distinct, sudden, and powerful impression to turn back immediately. He obeyed this prompting and, within a few moments, reached a point where he saw a large, heavy sign or object fall from a building directly onto the path he had been walking on moments before, which would have surely caused him severe injury or death had he not turned back.
In Their Own Words
“As I was walking along the street, I suddenly felt a powerful impression to turn back. It was so strong that I could not resist it. I turned and walked in the opposite direction, and a few seconds later, a large, heavy sign fell from the top of a building and crashed on the very spot where I would have been had I not obeyed the warning. — Millennial Star 83:0”
