Elders' Testimonies of Healing in the Netherlands Mission

During the Netherlands Conference held in Rotterdam in June 1896, Elders reported on their missionary work. In a special meeting for the Elders, they provided testimonies regarding their experiences in healing the sick through the power of the priesthood, which President Geo. S. Spencer noted as an encouraging sign of the increasing faith of the Saints.

The Netherlands conference was held in Rotterdam on June 14, 1896. President Geo. S. Spencer presided. Elders A. H. Lund, F. Pieper, and J. B. Ripplinger were present. The Elders reported their labors, and bore testimony to the power of God in healing the sick, which was very encouraging to the Saints.
In Their Own Words
“Monday morning at 10 o'clock the Elders in meeting assembled and gave encouraging reports. One very marked feature being the testimonies they had received in healing the sick. We think this argues well that the faith of the Saints through renewed diligence is increasing. — Millennial Star 58:26”
