Before meeting her husband, Victor Prescott Cram, Esther experienced a distinct spiritual manifestation or dream regarding the man she was destined to marry. When Victor Cram, a recent convert from Maine, arrived in the settlement of Spring Lake, Utah, Esther immediately recognized him as the individual she had seen in her spiritual vision. This divine guidance led to their courtship and eventual marriage in the St. George Temple on April 10, 1879.
