Isaac C. Haight — Provision during the Nauvoo Exodus

During the forced exodus from Nauvoo in 1846, Isaac C. Haight and his family faced extreme deprivation in the Iowa wilderness. With their food and resources nearly exhausted, Haight recorded that through earnest family prayer, they were able to obtain necessary supplies through unexpected means. He attributed their ability to reach Winter Quarters and sustain their health during the trek to the direct intervention of God in response to their petitions for relief.
