A young man who was one of the foremost among a dozen who had previously caused disturbances at the London open-air meetings changed his antagonism to friendliness. He completed his investigation of the Church, was baptized, and became an earnest attendant of meetings and tract distributor. His parents, who previously had never seen him so happy, energetic, and capable, inquired of the elders about the change in his life.

In Their Own Words

“Among the young men, of whom about a dozen had raised most of the disturbances in the earlier part of the season, one of the foremost had not only changed from his antagonism to friendliness, but had quite recently completed his investigations and, in a thoroughly humble, contrite spirit had come forward and been baptized; and is now an earnest attendant of meetings and distributor of tracts. His father and mother recently attended a meeting and remained to inquire of the elders what they had done to bring about the great change in their boy's life; for they had never seen him so happy, energetic and capable as since he had joined the Church. — Millennial Star 82:45”
