Thomas C. Callister — Healing of a Crushed Child
Published September 2, 2026 at 8:44 AM
While serving as a leader in Fillmore, Utah, Thomas Callister was called to the home of a family where a young child had been run over by a heavy pioneer wagon. The child was believed to be fatally injured or already deceased by those present. Callister, exercising his priesthood authority, administered to the child. According to local records and family history, the child was restored to health almost immediately following the administration, a recovery that was deemed miraculous by the witnesses in the community.
