Rebekah Bennett Receives Spiritual Witness During MTC Devotional Technical Failure

During a devotional at the Provo Missionary Training Center on August 19, 2025, Elder Neil L. Andersen's microphone and sound system unexpectedly failed while he was speaking about faith being tested. Missionary Rebekah Bennett, preparing to serve in the Japan Nagoya Mission, experienced a special witness from the Holy Ghost, realizing the disruption occurred so the missionaries would be prompted to listen more intently to the message.

Fuller account of this event (paraphrased from the cited modern source):

Technical issues silenced the audio system during an address by Elder Neil L. Andersen at the Provo Missionary Training Center. Sister Rebekah Bennett and other attendees felt this pause provided a unique opportunity to experience a powerful spiritual influence. Many missionaries present reported feeling their testimonies strengthened despite the equipment failure.
