On May 7, 1842, Joseph Smith was with the brethren at Judge Adams' house in a very social manner and prophesied that his Missouri case would be raised at his trial and that he would be discharged.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in History of Joseph Smith, The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 20, No. 18, 1 May 1858, p. 279):
May 7.—I was with the brethren at Judge Adams' house, in a very social manner, and prophesied that my Missouri case would be raised at my trial, and that I should be discharged.
In Their Own Words
“I spent the day with the brethren at Judge Adams’ in a very social manner, and prophesied in the name of the Lord that I should be raised at my trial and that it would be made to appear that I was innocent; and that I should be discharged. — Millennial Star 20:18”
