President Edgar B. Brossard related that Joseph Smith prayed to the Father without doubt in his mind and received an answer, which enabled him to restore the gospel to the earth.

“The Prophet Joseph Smith was patient, and prayed to the Father without doubt in his mind, and received an answer. He was the instrument in the hands of God in restoring the gospel to the earth, in fulfillment of the words of John in Revelation 14 : 6, having received it from the angel there spoken of. — Millennial Star 75:40”
