John Van Cott Expels Disturbing Men from Copenhagen Meeting

During a meeting in Copenhagen, four or five men entered and caused a great disturbance. Despite their violent resistance, the Elders and those with authority were able to remove them from the room without any injuries sustained.

Fuller account of this event (in the witness’s own words):

Peace has prevailed; no disturbance of late, until last Sunday, when, as the meeting was about to be concluded, four or five men came in, and began to make a great disturbance. They were requested to desist, but that only made them worse, and the final result was, found those who had the power to cast out, notwithstanding their violent resistance, and they very soon found themselves outside of the door, and no one injured.
