While traveling through Italy near the church of St. Lorenzo, Jabez Woodard and a teacher arrived at the home of a brother who stated he knew the Elders were coming, even though Woodard had not informed anyone of his travel plans.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 13, No. 12, 15 June 1851, p. 183):
I arrived at the house of a brother near St. Lorenzo, who told me he knew we were coming, although I had not informed any one of my intention to visit him.
In Their Own Words
“The next morning we pursued our journey till mid-day, when we arrived at the house of a brother. He had been looking for our coming, although I had not told any one that it was my intention to pass that way ; but said, " The Lord made it known to me." — Millennial Star 13:12”
