Dan, a young boy, receives a telephone message that his mother is ill unto death. He travels alone and in secret to her bedside. Upon his arrival and the sight of him, his mother experiences a sudden and dramatic recovery which the doctor characterizes as a miracle.
In Their Own Words
“When the doctor came an hour later he looked at his patient and then started back in surprise. Going around to the father as he knelt with drawn face by the bedside he said, 'A miracle has happened and she will live.' 'Yes, doctor,' came a feeble but happy voice from among the pillows, 'my little son has come back to me—and he will make me well.' — The Young Woman's Journal 17:11”
