Frederick Bartlett, a 58-year-old man, was suffering from sickness. Elders administered to him, and he was subsequently healed and able to return to work, feeling well and continuing his labors in the Church.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 42, No. 8, 23 February 1880, p. 123):
Brother Frederick Bartlett, of Lymm, who had been suffering for some time from a severe attack of sickness, was administered to by the Elders, and was so far restored that he was able to resume his work, and is now feeling well and continuing his labors in the Church.
In Their Own Words
“I baptized three men, viz: Frederick Bartlett, Thomas... Notwithstanding his age, fifty-eight years, and the weather at the time, he took no harm... His (Bartlett's) sickness is now gone and he is again at work, feeling well in the work of the Lord. — Millennial Star 42:8”
