In June 1909, A. Harrod was suffering from consumption of the lungs and was given little hope of recovery by a doctor. An elder visited and administered to her, after which she immediately began to feel better. A fortnight later, the elder administered to her again, rebuking the disease in the name of the Lord, resulting in a remarkable restoration of her strength and the ability to return to her duties.
In Their Own Words
“In June of this year I was suffering from consumption of the lungs. The doctor gave very little hope of my recovery. Just at that time an elder came to visit us, and administered to me. I began at once to feel better. A fortnight after he again administered to me, and rebuked the disease in the name of the Lord. My strength was restored in a remarkable manner. I was able once more to go out and attend to my duties, and have been doing so since that time.”
