Divine Protection and Preservation of a sister from a near-death accident

A sister was involved in an accident where she was thrown from a vehicle. She suffered severe injuries, including a broken hip or joint, and was in a state where life appeared to be departing. Through the prayers of the brethren, she was preserved and healed.

Fuller account of this event (in the witness’s own words):

I might also mention the case of a sister who had been thrown from a vehicle, and whose injuries were such that she was pronounced by the doctor as beyond the reach of any assistance, and that unless her life was preserved by the power of God, she could not live, as she was literally broken in almost every joint in her body. When we heard this, we saw the power of God manifested in her behalf, for in answer to our prayers, she was restored to health.
