An unnamed sister in the Chesterfield branch was completely cured of the painful condition tic-doloreaux in her face after she touched it with the handkerchief of an Elder of that branch.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 9, No. 24, 15 December 1847, p. 379):
A sister in the Chesterfield branch, who had been suffering for some time with the tic-doloreaux in her face, was completely cured by touching it with a handkerchief belonging to Elder Rodger.
In Their Own Words
“So great has been the faith of one of our sisters, that she has been completely cured of the tic-doloreaux in the face, by merely touching the place with the handkerchief of an elder in this branch. Is this not like the days of Paul? Who would not bow the knee for such blessings? Who would not bear the cross, when we, from day to day, both see and handle of the things of our God? — Millennial Star 9:24”
