C. W. Penrose recounts that while he was preaching in Maldon, the residents of the house where he held his first meeting rejected his message; he later learned that cholera visited that family and swept them out of existence.
In Their Own Words
“I remember first going forth to preach the Gospel in Maldon, where I am now appointed to labor again. The people right in the house where I first preached in Maldon, rejected the message I bore to them, and I now find the cholera has visited that family and swept them out of existence. — Millennial Star 28:15”
