During a conference visit to Nottingham, President Lyman and the scribe, along with President Walker, performed the blessing of administration for Sister Wells, who was ill and longing to return to Zion.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 63, No. 15, 11 April 1901, p. 235):
President Lyman and the writer, accompanied by President Walker, visited Sister Wells, who is quite ill and longing to return to Zion. We administered to her, and she felt much comforted.
In Their Own Words
“In the interval of meeting Presidents Lyman, Walker and the scribe had an hour with Brother and Sister Hansen, and afterwards the blessing of administration was given to our devoted Sister Wells, who with her husband are longing for their return to Zion. — Millennial Star 63:15”
