Appearance of gulls to destroy crickets in Malad Valley

In Malad Valley, a severe cricket infestation threatened crops. The Saints experienced a miraculous intervention when large numbers of gulls appeared throughout the valley to destroy the crickets, a phenomenon not previously observed in that region.

“Spring is backward, but the pros- pect is good for crops, providing our old enemies, the crickets, are destroyed, of which there is a very fine prospect, as gulls have appeared throughout our valley in numbers which has never been the case before. — Millennial Star 35:25”
