Bibliography Research
Born in Salt Lake City in 1880, Lucy Grant was noted for being physically frail during her childhood. On several distinct occasions, she suffered from severe illnesses where her life was in immediate peril. According to historical biographical sketches, she was repeatedly restored to health through 'the power of faith and the blessing of the Lord.' These recurring instances of healing were cited by her contemporaries as evidence of the Lord's hand in preserving her life for her future leadership roles in the Church.
