Jean Bertoch: A Waldensian Saint of the San Germano Branch (1850s)

Jean Bertoch was a convert of the Italian Mission, recorded among the Saints of the San Germano Branch in the Waldensian valleys of Italy. With James, Daniel, and Antoinette Bertoch, he represented the ancient Waldensian heritage that, upon hearing the restored gospel, recognized in it the fulfillment of generations of faithful longing. His conversion is a faith-promoting witness of the Waldensian Saints who, inheriting centuries of faithful testimony in their mountain valleys, found in the Restoration the fullness they had long awaited, and gathered with the body of the Saints.
