Anson Call — Spiritual Manifestation and Conversion

Before his full conversion to the Church, Anson Call experienced significant spiritual unrest. He recorded that his 'dreams and meditations made [him] miserable' as he struggled with religious questions. This period of spiritual darkness was resolved through a series of dreams and a profound spiritual manifestation upon meeting the Prophet Joseph Smith. He described being filled with 'great joy' and receiving a divine witness of the truth, which led to his baptism and lifelong commitment to the faith.
