Senator Robert F. Bennett: A Latter-day Saint in the United States Senate (1933–2016)

Robert Foster Bennett (18 September 1933 – 4 May 2016) served as a United States Senator from Utah from 1993 to 2011, the son of Senator Wallace F. Bennett, and the second of his family to hold Utah's Senate seat. A faithful Latter-day Saint, he brought the values of his family and his faith into a long career of public and business service, holding senior positions on key Senate committees. Senator Bennett's life is a faith-promoting witness of Latter-day Saints who have served in the high councils of the nation while seeking to remain true to their covenants.
