Following the Velvet Revolution in late 1989, Olga worked with Church leaders to secure official recognition from the new government. She describes the rapid and improbable series of events that led to the Church being one of the first religious organizations granted legal status in early 1990. After 40 years of being banned and persecuted, the sudden 'opening of the heavens' and the government's favor was viewed by Olga and the Czech Saints as a direct miraculous intervention by the Lord to establish His kingdom in the East.
