Long Life and Faithful Service in the Temple

In 1877, Henry William Bigler moved to St. George, Utah and dedicated himself to temple work in the newly completed St. George Temple. He continued this sacred service faithfully until his death in 1900 at the age of 85. His remarkable longevity—living to see the American West transformed from frontier to settled territory—and his consistent faith and service through eight decades testified to divine blessing and sustained strength.
