Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball Lay Hands on Oliver Huntington — His Relapse is Healed and He Knows He Will Live

In the summer of 1844, Oliver B. Huntington had been working at a carding mill in Lima, Adams County. On July 31st, he was struck violently ill with fever. He was too weak to be moved for weeks. When his father and brother-in-law finally came to bring him home to Nauvoo, the journey triggered a severe relapse.

Huntington recorded:

'That brought on a relapse which came near taking me out of the world. Brother Brigham and Heber came in and laid hands on me and sealed health upon me. From that time I rested content that I should not die.'
