Young Hindoo Healed of Illness in Calcutta

A young Hindoo was healed through the power of God. During a public meeting in Calcutta, a non-member who was present testified before an audience that he was an eyewitness to the event and was satisfied that the healing was genuine, refuting critics who questioned the Church's gift of healing.

A young Hindoo was healed through the power of God. During a public meeting in Calcutta, a non-member who was present testified before an audience that he was an eyewitness to the event and was satisfied that the healing was genuine, refuting critics who questioned the Church's gift of healing. In the course of the meeting, when one of them questioned the fact of the Church having the gift of healing, a gentleman, not in the Church at present, who was present when a young Hindoo was healed, testified in the presence of this pious brawler and the assembled audience, that he was “quite satisfied that it was so, having been an eyewitness.”
