Elder W. S. Warren, while serving his mission in the Bedfordshire Conference, reports that he has enjoyed his labors despite the fact that few people have accepted his testimony. He explicitly notes that he has realized the fulfillment of the words of the Prophet pronounced upon him before he departed for his mission.

Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 28, No. 38, 22 September 1866, p. 604):

Elder W. S. Warren, writing from the Bedfordshire Conference, says he has enjoyed his labors, though few have received his testimony. He has realized the fulfillment of the words of the Prophet pronounced upon him before he left home.

In Their Own Words

“Notwithstanding that very few have received the testimony which I have borne unto the people, I have enjoyed myself much in my iabors, and have realized the fulfilment of the words of the Prophet pronounced in my ear ere I departed on my mmission to this land. — Millennial Star 28:38”
