During a meeting in the Tredegar Conference, a Sister spoke by the spirit of prophecy with such specificity regarding the future need for Elders that Saints later compared her words to an editorial published in the Millennial Star.
In Their Own Words
“One night, in a meeting, a Sister spoke by the spirit of Prophecy (while the spirit of the Lord was mightily in the meeting), which contained a portion of your Editorial almost word for word, where it says that the time would soon come when they would hunt for an Elder from shore to shore to baptize them, &. It was so pointed that some of the Saints, after the Star came out, went to her, and asked her if she had seen the Star before it came out, &. — Millennial Star 30:1”
