In Paisley, sister Gardner had a badly diseased limb. After the Saints administered to her, she steadily improved in both the strength and use of the limb.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 25, No. 9, 28 February 1863, p. 141):
Sister Gardner, of Paisley, who had a badly diseased limb, and had been unable to walk for some time, was administered to by Elder David M. Stuart, and she has since been able to walk, and is steadily improving in the strength and use of her limb.
In Their Own Words
“Elder David M. Stuart, President of the Scottish District, writes, in a recent letter, that a sister Gardner, of Paisley, who was administered to lately for a very badly diseased limb, has been steadily improving in the strength and use of it ever since the administration was attended to.”
