For three consecutive Sundays while holding conferences in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee, the missionaries experienced unusually fine weather, which H. H. Cuirr noted as a remarkable occurrence and a blessing from God during his missionary service.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 29, No. 47, 23 November 1867):
We have held conferences in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Dundee, and have been blessed with three consecutive Sundays of unusually fine weather, which I consider a remarkable occurrence and a blessing from God during my missionary service.
In Their Own Words
“One thing was very remarkable, and worth recording for the credit of this country, which made our missionary labors more agreeable, and that was this: the weather on each Sabbath was unusually fine; such a circumstance has not come under my observation since I have labored in this country, and we felt to praise God for it. — Millennial Star 29:47”
