After returning to Utah in a weakened state from heart disease contracted in Ann Arbor, Julia McDonald Pace applied for blessings from the Priesthood and washing and anointing from the sisters. She was promised a renewal of life and that she should yet bear children, a prophecy fulfilled as she later bore three children.
In Their Own Words
“After her return, she at once applied for the blessings of the Priesthood, as well as for washing and anointing from the sisters. She was promised a renewal of life, and, marvellous to add, that she should yet bear sons and daughters to God. — The Young Woman's Journal 11:6”
