A Palsy-Stricken Dunfermline Sister Immediately Recovers Her Speech After Anointing (1847)

A sister, who had been struck with the palsy about ten months prior and had lost the power of speech, was anointed with oil and had hands laid upon her by William Atholl M'Master on October 6, 1847. She immediately recovered her speech.

A sister in Dunfermline, who had been struck with the palsy about ten months, and had lost the power of speech, was anointed with oil, and had hands laid upon her by Elder William Atholl M'Master, on the 6th of October, and she immediately recovered her speech.

“Again, on the 6th of October, he brought his wife to me, who had been struck with the palsy about ten months ago, and lost the power of her speech; I anointed with oil in the name of the Lord, and laid hands upon her, and she received her speech as well as ever again, and she is rejoicing in the work of the Lord. — Millennial Star 9:23”
