Maureen Ursenbach Beecher (19 March 1935 – 18 November 2025) was a Latter-day Saint historian whose scholarship opened to the Saints the life and writings of the great poetess and Relief Society leader Eliza Roxcy Snow. As editor of 'The Personal Writings of Eliza Roxcy Snow' and a longtime scholar at the Church History Department and BYU, she shed light on the faithful women of the early Church and helped the rising generation know the Lord's work among His daughters. Sister Beecher's life is a faith-promoting witness of the Latter-day Saint scholars who, by their consecrated labor, recover and preserve the testimonies of the early Saints for the strengthening of the whole Church.
