While moving to Salt Lake City in October 1852, a young Mary A. Freeze fell while climbing into a wagon and was run over by both wheels. She was severely injured but was healed almost instantly following the administration of the elders, experiencing no further effects from the injury.

In her autobiographical account, Mary Ann Burnham Freeze specifies that the journey across the plains took place in 1852, with the company reaching Salt Lake City on October 8th, 1852.

In Their Own Words
