Mary Ann Wilson had suffered from epileptic fits for years and was almost totally deaf. After Elders Joseph Everett and William Hardy laid hands on her and blessed her, she received her hearing and did not suffer another fit.
In Their Own Words
“For years I was subject to epileptic fits, and was almost totally deaf. One day, about three years since, an elder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called at my door. I requested the elders (Joseph Everett and William Hardy) to lay hands on me and bless me. This they did, and almost immediately I received my hearing, and from that day until this I have never taken another fit. I know that it was by the power of God I was healed.”
— Mary Ann Wilson, as reported in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 70, No. 6
