During a conference in Manchester, England, a rich cake sent by the wife of Elder Adams from New York was blessed by the Twelve and distributed to all the officers and members present, consisting of approximately seven hundred people. Miraculously, despite being fed to the entire large assembly, a large fragment of the cake remained for those who were not present at the time of distribution.

In Their Own Words

“A very rich cake, sent from New York, from Elder Adams' wife to the Twelve was then exhibited to the meeting. This was blessed by them, and distributed to all the officers and members, and to the whole meeting, consisting of perhaps seven hundred people, a large fragment was still preserved for some who were not present. — Times and Seasons 2:17”
