Early in the period when Martin Harris was investigating Joseph Smith's claims, Lucy Harris shared a dream with the Smith family. In this dream, she saw three personages who told her that the record Joseph Smith possessed was of great importance and that she should assist her husband in his efforts to support the work. This account is recorded by Lucy Mack Smith as a 'very remarkable dream' that occurred before Lucy Harris became an opponent of the Church.
