John B. Ward of Birmingham suffered from blood poison for two weeks under a doctor's care without improvement. On May 15, 1907, he attended a cottage meeting at Saltley where he was administered to by Elders. He received immediate relief and was able to return to work the following Monday.
In Their Own Words
“Less than a year from that time I met with an accident which resulted in blood poison. I was under a doctor's treatment for two weeks, but continued getting worse, and had almost come to the conclusion that I could not be cured. On the 15th of May last I went to a cottage meeting at Saltley, and was administered to by Elders. I received immediate relief and was able to resume work the following Monday morning. I have been a member of the Church for about two years, and I have never had any doubt as to the truth of the Gospel. I know that it was the power of God that healed me, and I give praise and glory to Him for this great blessing.”
