Henning A. Petterson, who had been struggling with such severe physical disability that he required two crutches to walk, was administered to by Elders in Copenhagen. He testifies that at the very moment of the administration, he was able to stand without aid. Since that time, his health significantly improved to the point where he could walk with only a cane and carry heavy burdens, which he attributes to his adherence to the Gospel and the power of the Priesthood.
In Their Own Words
“If you remember, when I was in Glasgow I was walking with two crutches. If you could see me now, you wouldn't know me. I am walking with only a cane, and can carry a burden of fifty pounds on my back. About two months ago I was so badly crippled I could hardly stand on my feet. I went to the Elders and they laid their hands on my head, and that very moment I could stand, and since then have been all right. I do not drink tea nor coffee, nothing stronger than water, and I feel God is blessing me with health to my body and soul.”
