While visiting Salt Lake City, M. Ensign called upon the family of a fellow missionary and observed the missionary's wife, who had been ailing, recovering after being administered to by sisters.
Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 31, No. 43 (20 October 1869), p. 686):
I called upon the family of a fellow missionary, and found his wife, who had been ailing, recovering after being administered to by the sisters.
In Their Own Words
“I called to see your family, sharing: called Saturday, 12th, when your wife was administering to the sick. All were doing pretty well this morning, although your wife was a little ailing, but I noticed that she was not much discouraged, as she was active, cheerful, and full of chat. — Millennial Star 31:43”
