A young man who had applied for baptism was so ill that he was not expected to live. Elders were called to administer to him, and he was restored to health, allowing him to be baptized.

Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 44, No. 28 (10 July 1882), p. 446):

A young man who had applied for baptism was so ill that he was not expected to live. Elders were called to administer to him, and he was restored to health, allowing him to be baptized.

In Their Own Words

“One day a young man made application to be baptized, who had been so sick that he was not expected to live. His elder brother was in the Church, and the Elders were called in to administer to him. He was so much restored that he was baptized. — Millennial Star 44:28”
