A sick woman's twin infants were suffering from severe colic. Dorothy Duewell, recognizing the danger from poor care and improper dosing by others, sent for the elders. After the brethren administered to the infant, it grew quiet and fell peacefully asleep.

In Their Own Words

“I think we would better send for the elders, she said. As no one objected, a little girl was auickly dispatched, and soon returned with the brethren. They had not taken their hands from the head of the little sufferer, until it grew quiet, and went peacefully to sleep. This was a testimony to Dorothy. — The Young Woman's Journal 9:4”
