During the voyage of the ship Constitution from Liverpool to New York in 1868, many passengers became seasick. The Elders on board were frequently called upon to administer to the afflicted, and in almost every case, the prayer of faith resulted in their healing.

Fuller account of this event (the complete account as preserved in The Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, Vol. 30, No. 36, 5 September 1868):

In Their Own Words

“We have had many calls to administer to the offlicted, and in almost if not-every case, the prayer of faith has healed them. — Millennial Star 30:36”
